This card indicates situations in which a person is overwhelmed by strong, literally gnawing doubts. The sign of Libra symbolizes the human mind’s comprehension of the external world, which (comprehension) first occurs at the level of abstractions. From reconciliation with oneself and the willingness to accept any knowledge, inner truth grows. But conscious free choice is carried out only at the moment when balance is achieved between two possibilities and nothing interferes with it (the choice).
