Holotropic breathing is the practice of defeating the human soul and consciousness. Leonova I.B

An altered state of consciousness is the key through which you can receive anything you want. You just have to ask a question while entering this special state.

In the last lesson of our “Money Magic” course, you learned to use the technique of interrupted sleep to reprogram the circumstances of your life, materialize your desires and solve all sorts of problems.

In this lesson we will learn how to obtain any information that interests us by immersing ourselves in the same altered state of consciousness - the theta state.

The principle of operation remains the same: after you wake up, you simply feel yourself being pulled back into sleep.

You will probably feel a certain wave that pulls you inside yourself or some “dips” (plunging) of consciousness into sleep. This is an altered state of consciousness in which you can receive any information hidden from you from the subconscious, which is directly connected to the information field of the Universe.

How to use an altered state of consciousness?

The interrupted sleep technique can give you access to any information hidden from you.

Just think how much this means and what opportunities it can provide! You can learn almost anything if you train this ability.

Using this technology, you can view your destiny, ask questions to the subconscious (it knows about everything).

This technique will provide an incredible service to researchers, writers, gamblers, brokers, treasure hunters, geologists, bookmakers, etc.

Ordinary people will be able to use it if they want to find out what is hidden from them, for example, to expose deception or betrayal, or to find out about the thoughts of a person.

How this method helped me find a large sum!

I love experiments. This happened in my youth when I needed a certain amount of money. It was late evening.

As always, I entered (I have been using this method for a long time) and asked my subconscious: “Where can I find the amount of money I need right now?” After that the pictures came.

I was shown that on a street I knew, in my city, there was a wallet full of money. I immediately called a taxi and headed to this exact place (the Universe does not like thoughts).

Having arrived there and carefully examined everything that I could see in the dark, I suddenly found a wallet full of large bills. I counted the money, and it turned out that there was exactly as much as I needed to solve my problem.

This is far from the only successful experience in my history.

How did an altered state of consciousness help me win the lottery?

Another case clearly demonstrates that using this method you can win cash prizes in the lottery. I decided to take this opportunity and test the method for strength.

On the eve of the New Year holidays, I bought a Sportloto lottery ticket. There you had to guess the winning combination of numbers 5 out of 36.

To be honest, I didn’t try very hard and remembered only three numbers that were shown to me in an altered state of consciousness. To my surprise, these numbers turned out to be winning. It wasn't a jackpot¹, but I was pleasantly pleased with the amount.

This was another victory and proof of the effectiveness of this method! I can tell you many stories about how incredibly effective this simple method works. Here's another interesting story when I was testing my feelings.

How an altered state of consciousness helped me expose betrayal

About five years ago, a mature woman came to see me (I used to provide services), she cried and said that she suspected her husband of cheating.

She didn't know what to do and decided to turn to me for advice.

“Help,” she begged.

I replied that a wise man who wants to feed the hungry gives not a fish, but a fishing rod. In 3 weeks I taught her simple and proven clairvoyance methods.

About two weeks after the training, she came to me again, but in even greater despair...

“Imagine,” she says, “I used your method and actually discovered that my husband, the school director, was really cheating on me with one of the young elementary school teachers.”

I went into a trance and saw them together in his office. I couldn’t stand it and ran there to check myself and expose the betrayal. It turned out to be true!

The altered state of consciousness gave me a lot!

Many of my techniques were discovered in it. That's why I say that interrupted sleep is an indispensable thing in research, scientific development, and obtaining profitable business ideas. This method is especially good for players in financial markets (although there are some nuances here and they need to be dealt with separately).

Conclusions:

  • So, we are interested in precisely these states of “dips” or waves of being drawn into sleep - this is theta trance.
  • At this moment, a “mystical” portal to the subconscious opens inside you, which means that you can ask questions or queries, similar to searching for information on an Internet search engine.
  • Focus as much as possible on an issue that interests or concerns you.
  • When a lapse in sleep comes, go into it with this question. After this (if you can stay awake), usually quite quickly, you receive an answer from somewhere in the depths of your subconscious. It could be a real voice or a vision or an understanding or a feeling. You will understand the answer already on a conscious level.

The answers, as a rule, are non-standard and even somewhat strange. You wouldn't have thought of this on your own. The subconscious is quite extraordinary.

What is an altered state of consciousness

If we write in accessible language, then an altered state of consciousness is an unusual psychological state of a person. As a rule, we all experience some phases of the condition throughout our lives. Normal states are considered to be quite ordinary things: wakefulness, dreams and deep sleep. Of course, there is such a thing as sleepwalking. But it should be talked about because it is another phase of an altered state of consciousness.

Altered states of consciousness include alcohol and drug exposure, as well as a trance state and hypnosis. When a person feels an overload in his mind and is no longer able to relax on his own and switch to other activities, he has to turn to specialists for help. However, in most cases, many try to solve their problems by using alcohol or drugs, which provide temporary relief and weaken the functioning of the mind. These methods do not lead to anything good and can only worsen the situation, since under external influence it is difficult for a person to control his actions.

However, not everything is so scary, because if you wish, you can achieve an altered state of consciousness in ways that cannot harm you. Scientists have long identified the altered state of consciousness as a separate group and also call it the alpha state. It is during this period of time that brain activity decreases and a person is, as it were, between two worlds: reality and sleep. The time of this transition is the most suitable for making wishes and for dialogue with the Universe.

How it works

At its core, the same visualization or meditation is an attempt to achieve an altered state of consciousness. Many people use shamanic techniques of entering a trance, hypnosis or holotropic breathing for this purpose. All these are ways to achieve a harmonious state and free our consciousness from everyday thoughts and accumulated negativity. There are many options for visualizations and meditations, and all of them are quite effective. The main thing is to find something you like and then it will really work.

To explain in more detail how an altered state of consciousness works, here is a simple example. Imagine that you are in a house with two rooms. One room is your state of awareness when you are awake. The second is your subconscious, which actively manifests itself during your sleep. The transition between these rooms is that same altered state when you have not yet closed the door from the first room, but have already managed to open the door to the second.

It is at such moments that insights most often occur, brilliant thoughts come to creators and answers to questions come to scientists. We experience this state every day, before going to bed or after waking up. As a rule, it lasts a very short period of time, and many simply do not notice it. If you learn to stay in this state consciously, and even make wishes, then you can achieve success in any business.

How to achieve a state of altered consciousness and what to do next

There are different ways to enter this alpha state. You can read about meditation and visualization separately. But there is another simple technique that you can use right before bed, which makes the task much easier.

Entering an altered state of consciousness

Choose a time so that no one will disturb you. Many people do this practice before going to bed or immediately after waking up. Lie down comfortably and close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and relax your entire body. After this, you can begin the technique itself.

Take a deep breath and as you exhale, you need to imagine the number three, and also say it to yourself. In one exhalation you need to have time to repeat this three times, so you need to exhale the air very slowly.

After this, take another breath and repeat the same thing, but with the number two. And do the same thing a third time with the unit. You should get the following cycle of breathing: Inhale, slowly exhale, plus visualize the three: three (pause), three (pause), three (final exhalation); inhale, slowly exhale: two (pause), two (pause), two (final exhalation); inhale, exhale: one (pause), one (pause), one (final exhalation).

The following signs will help you understand that you are in an altered state of consciousness:

  • you feel comfort on a physical level;
  • your eyes are closed, but even if you open them, it will not change your condition;
  • thoughts stop rushing at uncontrollable speed or disappear altogether;
  • slight numbness of the limbs;
  • breathing becomes deeper and rarer;
  • a feeling of detachment from the surrounding reality;
  • feeling of a trance state.

Once you reach this state, you can use visualization techniques where you imagine that your wish has already come true. For this to be convincing, you need to not only imagine it, but also feel it: what you will do, what you will wear, what emotions you will experience when everything has already come true, and so on.

You can also simply make a wish and release it into the Universe. And if you use this technique and choose a special time when the connection with the Higher Powers reaches its maximum, then everything will come true much faster. But remember that nothing happens overnight, so don’t give up the next day if you don’t see results. Repeat this technique of achieving what you want for at least a week, then changes will not take long to arrive. Good luck, and don't forget to press the buttons and

"! Today we will learn to enter an altered state of consciousness, or alpha state, and we will learn how to do this in 10 seconds. My record for entering the alpha state is 7 seconds, and into a deep state (2-3 seconds for relaxation, the same amount for entering a regular alpha and then a couple of seconds into a deep state of altered consciousness).

Then we will move on to practicing the theta state, although it is possible that you will fall into this state already in the first technique.

The alpha state of the brain allows you to quickly relax the body, enter into deep meditation, receive answers from the subconscious, and effectively reprogram destructive programs. In this state, it is recommended to work with visualizations, affirmations and other techniques.

To begin with, you just need to learn how to enter an altered state of consciousness, and then reduce this time to a minimum (10-15 seconds or less). I entered this state in 7 seconds when I was in a calm state.

I’ll tell you briefly about brain frequencies for those who don’t know what we’re talking about. Brain frequency is waves with a frequency of approximately 0.5 to 40 cycles per second, or 1.5 to 40 Hz. This frequency determines what state we are in: awake, drowsy or deep sleep.

The lower the frequency or less, the closer the person’s state becomes to sleep. The higher the frequency, the faster and more active our brain works.

Don't confuse brain frequency with human frequency. These are completely different systems.

Conventionally, brain frequencies were divided into 5 parts. The brain emits gamma, betta, alpha, theta and delta waves. Now let's take a closer look at each wave.

Gamma waves are the fastest. Their frequency is 30-45 Hz. These waves are generated by the brain in both hemispheres. Consciousness at this frequency works at its maximum. It is believed that these waves begin to be produced when a person needs to simultaneously work with different types of information and at the same time connect them with each other as quickly as possible. As gamma waves decrease, the ability to remember begins to decrease.

Betta waves generated by the left hemisphere of the human brain. Their frequency is from 14 to 30 Hz. They are responsible for logical thinking, concentration, and decision making. Betta waves provide the opportunity to be active in society. They speed up brain function and enhance information processing and absorption. They also enhance the overall energy of the body, excite the nervous system, eliminate drowsiness and sharpen the senses.

Alpha waves. It is with them that we will work today. When you begin to relax with your eyes closed and various images begin to appear in your mind, your imagination begins to work actively and alpha waves appear. Their frequency is from 7 to 14 Hz. Alpha waves are generated by the right hemisphere of the brain.

When an adult is in a relaxed and comfortable state and at the same time retains conscious activity, a sufficient number of alpha waves are produced. Essentially, this is the state before falling asleep.

At this frequency, a person can effectively cope with the tasks assigned to him. Alpha waves greatly enhance the ability to perceive a large amount of information, develop abstract thinking, and help self-control. This frequency is also good for relieving stress, nervous tension and anxiety.

Alpha waves help connect the conscious mind with the subconscious mind (or soul). At this frequency, so-called joy hormones are produced, which help reduce pain and are responsible for a positive outlook on life, happiness, joy and relaxation.

Theta waves bring the body into a state of deep relaxation. This is a state of sleep where dreams can occur. Their frequency is from 4 to 7 Hz. If you master conscious entry into this frequency and conscious stay there, solving many issues will be much easier. I have not yet mastered this state. For now, alpha is enough for me.

In the theta rhythm after heavy exercise, the body can quickly recover. At this frequency, a feeling of bliss and peace appears. Theta waves are generated by the right hemisphere of the brain. They are the boundary between consciousness and subconscious.

Theta waves promote the manifestation of paranormal abilities. They enhance emotions and feelings, and also allow you to program and reprogram the subconscious, and get rid of negative and limiting thinking. For people involved in self-development, mastering this frequency can be of great benefit.

Delta waves. This rhythm begins to work during deep sleep. In the delta state, the body undergoes intensive self-healing and self-healing processes. Delta waves are generated by the right hemisphere of the brain. Their frequency is from 0.5 to 4 Hz.

An altered state of consciousness (ASC) begins with the alpha frequency and at the border of alpha and theta waves.

It is at these frequencies that it is good to reprogram the body. It would be ideal to work at theta frequencies, but this is actually sleep and requires long-term training.

Now we will learn to enter a deep alpha state without a computer and special music. In this state, you can recover in literally 10-15 minutes, find solutions to problems, get answers to troubling questions that you cannot get answers to in a normal state, reconfigure your entire body, reprogram internal programs and beliefs, and tune in to events.

Preparation for practice

You can enter the alpha state while sitting or lying down, whichever is more comfortable for you. If you fall asleep quickly in a relaxed state, this technique is best done while sitting. During your first training, before entering altered states of consciousness, you do not need to set any goals. To begin with, you just need to get good at walking into this state. Before class, we remove all irritating factors: turn off the phone, intercom, close the doors so that relatives do not disturb. Clothes should be loose. If extraneous sounds are still present, wear headphones.

A good time to do this technique is before bed, when everyone in the house is calm. The position should be comfortable; arms and legs should not be crossed.

How to enter the alpha state - practice

We close our eyes and make the first count from 3 to 1 as follows. First, take a deep breath and as you exhale, mentally pronounce the number 3 three times ( three, three, three) and imagine the image of the three in front of the internal screen. Let this image be the one that comes to you. Concentrate your attention on the number. At this time, you relax your body from head to toe.

If you don't know how to relax, first practice relaxing to the point where you can do it in a few seconds. I'm not writing about deep relaxation. Primary general relaxation is enough.

After this you need to lie down for a few seconds. Next, take a deep breath and as you exhale, say the number 2 three times ( two, two, two). All the same. With number 2, you relax your face, cheeks, jaw, back of the head and eyelids. Notice the relaxation of the eyelids. Then lie down for a few seconds or a little longer, as you wish.

Then comes one. We also say the number 1 3 times, not forgetting about the image of the unit. Now we are not relaxing anything, but simply concentrating on one.

Then we lie down for a few seconds and begin the second countdown from 10 to 1. Now there is no need to take deep breaths and exhales. We do everything easily and relaxed. Let's start with ten. We also mentally pronounce the number 10 and imagine it. After 2-3 breaths while exhaling, we mentally pronounce the word "deeper" and mentally we seem to fall into the depths, into something pleasant, like into a pillow.

If at some number you start to get confused and forget what your score is, then you are already in alpha.

This can happen on any number. Once this has happened, there is no need to count anymore. Feel this state. There should be no active thoughts. If thoughts appear, just watch them as if from the outside and they will go away. A large flow of thoughts takes you out of a state of altered consciousness.

If you missed the alpha and fell asleep, it's okay. You just need to practice. If you didn’t get into this state the first time, you are in the state you will be in. It will still be alpha, just not deep.

The state of deep alpha is very pleasant, which is difficult to describe. This is a relaxed state with indescribable depth; it feels good and pleasant. When you get into deep alpha, you will understand this.

Stay in this state as long as you want. If time is limited, you can set an alarm clock with a pleasant melody.

In a normal alpha there is a period when you are overcome by love and happiness. Just observe this state and go deeper. If you want, you can remain in this state, but it is easy to slip through it, it is fleeting. For me, this state happens within a few seconds. Although this state of love may not exist, we are all different.

Sometimes 10-15 minutes in deep alpha can replace 1-2 hours of sleep.

In altered states of consciousness, various images may appear. Observe them and remain aware at the same time so as not to fall asleep. After some time, watching the images, it may dawn on you, you may understand something that you never understood, an interesting thought or idea may come to you, the necessary information that you have long forgotten may emerge in your memory.

Solving Problems Using the Alpha Brain State

In this trance state, you can tune in to solve the necessary problems and simply observe thoughts and images. Once you learn to enter a deep alpha state, you can master problem solving through this technique. Before practice, tune in to solving the desired problem, otherwise you may not remember this in the alpha itself and immerse yourself in the alpha. If you have found a solution to the problem, immediately get out of this state, otherwise you may not remember later.

With the help of an assistant, you can do great things, including writing books. To solve simple one-answer solutions, just enter alpha and observe what is happening there. We received an answer and left alpha.

If you need to receive a large amount of information, it is difficult to remember it. In this case, an assistant would be an ideal option. You received a piece of information in alpha, spoke it out loud and immediately entered alpha again. The assistant wrote down the information.

A new piece of information arrived, was spoken out loud again, the assistant wrote it down again, etc. Thus, you will practically not leave this trance state and dictate information to the assistant. Of course, you can also use a voice recorder for this.

It is very easy to get out of the alpha state. A little effort of will and you are already in betta. When leaving alpha, try to endure this wonderful state that you will have.

Thus, you will become stronger and happier, stress and problems will affect you less and less, you will become a more confident person. I prepared some fragments of texts on this blog using the alpha state.

Most people get into the first shallow alpha the first time. As I already wrote in the article about, it takes 21 days to create new skills. I recommend that you start practicing entering an altered state of consciousness for 21 days. Ideally, this should be done 3 times a day for 3 weeks.

When I started learning to enter a deep alpha state, I practiced 3 times a day and the day came when I entered deep alpha. I immediately felt this and, out of curiosity, looked at the calendar of my classes. And what do you think? It was 21 days of classes. This may be a coincidence, but it seems somewhat natural.

It is very pleasant to do this practice before bed. Of course, not everyone has the opportunity to enter this state 3 times a day. If you want to learn a new ability, look for conditions for practicing. Do this practice at least once a day, but daily. Once you have established this skill, daily practice will no longer be necessary. In order to enter an altered state of consciousness in 10 seconds, it took me about 2 months of daily practice.

Entering Theta

Very often, when entering alpha, a person falls into the theta state. With experience comes control of these states, but if the previous exercise is not enough for you, continue with this addition:

While in alpha, bring your attention to the tip of your chin and keep it there. This will move you to the theta frequency. At first this may take 5-10 minutes, but over time this time can be reduced to a few seconds. Instead of the chin, attention can be transferred to the third eye area.

Also a very good way to get into theta is to practice on awakening. Once you are awake, but not yet fully conscious and open your eyes, you are in the theta state. To remember this in the morning, you need to create the intention to remember it before falling asleep. When falling asleep, it is a very convenient moment to pass through this state and maintain it.

The human brain constantly emits energy impulses. The devices record this. Over the course of long-term studies, it was found that these impulses are oscillations and constantly change rhythm. In different states of consciousness, the brain emits energy waves at different frequencies. To simplify work and research, notations were introduced and states were divided.

Result:
- beta waves - 13-25 oscillations per second (waking state);
- alpha waves - 7-13 oscillations per second (sleep state with a dream);
- theta waves - 4-7 oscillations per second (state of deep sleep without dreams or trance);
– delta waves – up to 5 oscillations per second (coma or megatrans)

Measurements of psychics at work, yogis in meditation, people artificially put into a trance gave an interesting result. It turned out that:
- a person does not have to sleep to be at the alpha or theta level;
- children under 7 - 10 years old are always at the alpha level;
- a sharp slowdown in rhythms is caused by closing the eyes.

William Hewitt, a famous hypnotherapist, researched and developed methods for controlling the state of the brain. Moreover, he published the book “The Secret Possibilities of Your Psyche,” which teaches people who are not endowed with paranormal abilities how to become a psychic. The first thing the book teaches is to consciously slow down the biorhythms of the brain, while moving, as he himself puts it, to (OES).
I can tell you from my own experience that it’s interesting. The altered state of consciousness induced by this technique enhances all abilities (both natural and paranormal).

Why in practice do you need to be able to achieve OES?

  • increasing efficiency when working with extrasensory abilities;
  • work with self-programming;
  • formation;
  • rapid achievement of the state;
  • working on intention through visualization;
  • with sufficient skill - entering deep trance states and consciously exiting it, etc...

Basic Psychic Level is an altered state of consciousness in the most accessible and safe form.

How to learn to achieve OES?

To do this, you need to spend 2 hours doing a couple of exercises. After this, it is advisable to repeat the adjustment every week. This makes it possible to reduce rhythms in a few seconds.

With regular practice, you can achieve the OES state in 2 seconds as many times a day as you like (although frequent practice gets tiring). With experience, you begin to notice that you are diving deeper and deeper - a pleasant feeling.

First, you need to learn how to achieve. The fastest and most effective exercise I have ever encountered is given by the same Hewitt.

Achieving the Basic Psychic Level

  1. Sit back and relax.
  2. Close your eyes.
  3. Visualize a spiral staircase with ten steps leading to the basement.
  4. Visualize yourself standing on the top step.
  5. Say: “Now I will start going down the stairs. With each step I will relax more and more and plunge into the depths of my subconscious.”
  6. Go down one step and say: “Deeper level of consciousness.”
  7. Continue down the steps repeating these words.
  8. Having descended to the lowest step, say: “I have now reached the basic level of consciousness that allows me to begin psychic reading.
    practice. I can reach this level at will with my eyes open or closed. To do this, I need to mentally count from three to one.” *Congratulations - you have taken an excursion into an altered state of consciousness.
  9. Open your eyes. Repeat the same exercise with your eyes open. I recommend practicing this exercise at least once a week.

You have now learned to achieve an altered state of consciousness at will. To do this, you just need to mentally count from three to one. This will take no more than two seconds. When I repeat this exercise, an imaginary staircase automatically appears in my mind's eye, intensifying the sensation. You can also conjure up the image of a ladder in your mind by counting from three to one. This will consolidate the success you have achieved.

I recently discovered an amazing opportunity to expand consciousness. The technique is very simple and effective. The source is the book “Live in the Heart” by Drunvalo Melchizedek, where the author provides an exercise that allows you to reveal the resources of your own body as a vessel of magical power and energy. When I started doing this exercise, I realized, in particular, the secret of gypsies and other witches who “think” with the womb! They simply place the "centre of awareness" in the womb and act from there!
Usually our awareness is in the head at the level of the eyes and ears. The fact that our awareness is usually in the head indicates the duality of our worldview, since the “head” consciousness is always dual: “good - evil”, “right - wrong”, “enemy - friend”... It is possible that for some level of being this is true. But is it necessary to remain at this level? Isn't it better to expand your awareness?

It is very easy to check the localization of awareness - you need to give yourself the command to shift your attention, say, to your chin. So! Where does your attention go? Down? This is usually true. Even lower - shoulders, stomach... heelsJAnd if you turn your attention to the top of your head, you move straight up! This is also a common situation.
And now our task is to shift the center of awareness to other areas of the body. D. Melchizedek suggests using the analogy of an elevator. I quote his text verbatim:

“Think of your spirit, of yourself, as something separate from your body. Let it appear as a small luminous sphere.
In the next stage, taking the form of a small sphere of light, we will leave the head and move to the throat chakra. But first, let's mentally review this process to prepare the mind.
Imagine a tall building with an elevator attached to the outside. This elevator is made entirely of glass, so you can see everything that's going on outside from inside. As you go down there, you see the entire building. Along the way, it seems to you that its roof is rapidly moving away from you. That is, your position relative to the building is constantly changing, so you see this building from different points, right?
Now close your eyes (this is important) - now you will only see with the help of your imagination. Imagine yourself as a small sphere of light emerging from the pineal gland and descending, like an elevator, from your head down to your throat chakra.
As you leave the head and move towards the throat chakra, you see in your imagination that the head moves away from you, remaining at the top, as it was with the top of the building. Don't think about what is happening, otherwise it will interfere with the process. Just play.
When you reach the throat chakra, you will feel or see with your inner vision that your head is somewhere far above you, and it will seem as if you are looking out from your throat. Feel its softness around you. You will be approximately level with your shoulders. You can do it!
If you are unable to complete this task the first time, stop, relax and remember to do this exercise as if you were playing a game. Continue to practice until you can see or feel, through your inner vision, how you, your spirit, moves from your head to your throat chakra.
Mentally return to your head. You will see with your inner vision or feel how the body moves away from you, remaining below, while the spirit, once again inside the skull, approaches the center of the head.
When entering the head, make sure that you are looking in the right direction, towards where the eyes are located. (This may seem funny or self-evident, but some people return to their head by turning towards the back of their head, which confuses them. This probably won't happen to you, otherwise just turn so that your eyes are in front of you and everything will fall into place very quickly).
Now go down from the head to the throat again. Once in it, feel the softness of the surrounding tissues around you.
Return to your head again, paying attention in your inner vision to the changes that are happening around you. Once in your head, feel the strength and hardness of the skull bones surrounding you. Feel the difference.
And go down into the throat again. You are enveloped in soft, delicate fabric. Feel the difference.
Now we will move on. Move from the throat to the right shoulder. You are still turned to the front side of the body and with your inner vision you see that the head is far up to the left. Feel the bones of the shoulder.
Now continue down the arm - along the forearm, to the hand and stop in the palm area. Look at your fingers. They may seem very big because at that moment you feel very tiny. Feel the fingers surrounding you.
Now return to the shoulder, then to the throat. Before going back up to the head, always stop at the throat as your base point. Make sure you are facing the same direction your eyes are facing and return to your head. Feel the hardness of the skull bones surrounding you...”

Surprisingly, when you “leave” your head, the world becomes different. You begin to look at him from a different angle and, above all, stop EVALUATING him!
At first I did this exercise with my eyes closed to help me concentrate. Now - not necessarily. The eyes continue to look, although I, for example, am already in the heart.
The best way to check where you are is to give yourself the command: “Focus on your chin!” Where does attention go? If it's down, it means you're in the head. If up, you are somewhere else, which can be determined by further examining your localization.
