Cut the onion into cubes and place in a multicooker bowl, onto the bottom of which we pour a small amount of vegetable oil.

When I don't have time to cook, a multicooker comes to my rescue. Today I offer a recipe simple and quick soup with sausage in a slow cooker.

I took the most common ingredients for the soup: onions, potatoes, carrots and vermicelli. And instead of meat I used doctor’s sausage and... However, if there is no broth, you can cook with water.

In this recipe, you can change the ingredients: add or remove vegetables, and use different cereals instead of vermicelli, then the soup will be completely different.

But the main advantage soup with sausage in a slow cooker is its speed of preparation. Just 40 minutes and delicious sausage soup in a slow cooker is ready! If you have a little more time, then I recommend that after frying the vegetables and sausage, cook this soup in the stew mode for 1 hour. Even though this mode is slower, the soup always turns out richer. I was running out of time, so I used a faster option for preparing it.

What we need to prepare sausage soup in a slow cooker:

  • five small potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 200-300 grams of doctor's or any other sausage
  • 50 grams of spider web vermicelli (for thick soup)
  • salt, spices
  • bay leaf, dried garlic
  • sunflower oil 3 tablespoons
  • 2 liters of water or meat broth

How to cook sausage soup in a slow cooker:

Cut the sausage into cubes.

Peel the onions and carrots and cut them into cubes as well.

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker and turn on the “baking” mode for 40 minutes. Fry the sausage for 5 minutes.

Then add vegetables and mix.

And fry for another 5 minutes.

Fill with hot meat broth or water. I had ready-made beef broth. We continue cooking until the signal.

We also cut the onion into fine cubes, and put it all into an empty multicooker bowl.

We cut the sausage. First in rings, and then these rings in strips. Add the sausage to the bowl with the potatoes and onions.

Fill the contents of the bowl with water. Adjust the thickness of the soup yourself as you like by adding ingredients or adding water. Place the bowl in the multicooker. Close the lid. Select the Soup program from the menu. Set the cooking time to 50 minutes. Turn on the start button and continue preparing the remaining ingredients.

The egg is already boiled. We clean it and cut it into strips or cubes, large or small, as you like. I use an egg slicer for this purpose. We chop the greens after thoroughly washing them.
