Oleg Gromov: Consumer attitude to nature leads to irreparable consequences. The barbaric attitude of man to nature (USE in Russian) Why do we have a barbaric attitude to nature

The heroes of "Tsar-Fish" live a difficult life, and the nature surrounding them is harsh, at times cruel to them. It is here, in this test, that people are divided into those for whom, in spite of everything, she still remains a beloved mother, and into others - for whom she is no longer a mother, but something alienated, something something from which you need to take more. Take more - that is, be a poacher, and not only with illegal fishing tackle, but also learn poaching as a way of life.

And this type of people is widely represented in the book by V. Astafiev. Ignatich, Commander, Damka, Rumbled - poachers. Each of them flashes some kind of gold of human love or human dignity. But all this is suppressed by boundless predation, the desire to snatch an extra piece.

All the "prominent" poachers came mainly from the ancient fishing village of Chush or were closely associated with it. A fishing state farm has been created in the village, the enterprise is quite modern, the vast majority of Chushan people work in it. But, despite this outwardly prosperous form of its existence, Chush, according to V. Astafyev, is a kind of base for poaching.

Lives in the village "motley population", "gloomy and hidden rabble." Appearance the village is unsightly, it is littered, a river with “stinking slurry” flows nearby, and there is also a “rotten pond” where “dead dogs, cans, rags” were dumped. In the center of the village, a dance floor was once put together, but the dances did not take root, and the "park" was soon "occupied by goats, pigs, chickens." The Kedr store is the most mysterious building in the village. Its peculiarity is that it almost never trades, since the "owners" of the store are quickly stealing, and there are essentially no necessary goods on its shelves. The store looks to match everything that is "conspicuous" in the village.

“To the right, all on the same ravine, above the excavation of a dried-up stream, on a trodden outcrop, similar to a grave mound, a gloomy, gloomy room undermined by pigs with closed shutters and doors closed on a wide iron strip, so beaten with nails that you can mistake them for a target riddled with shot is the Kedr store.

The village population is also depicted in this tone. Men drinking on logs by the river, waiting for a steamboat, young people walking along right there in anticipation of all sorts of unexpected incidents. The trendsetter of the Chushan fashion for dressing, smoking, drinking stands out - a student who came on vacation. “On the chest of the girl, deliciously knocked down, throwing bright hares, a golden plaque was burning, weighing no less than a kilogram ... The girl was hoofing her legs, the plaque was bouncing and beating on her chest.” Sharpening, exaggeration, dismissive coloring of words here are clearly from a satirical arsenal. Moreover, the author still does not refuse a direct assessment of the events taking place.

“Behind the outstanding student,” he continues, “as if at a dog wedding, the Chushan guys trudged, looking at her faithfully, then the local girls, more colorful, but no less valuablely dressed, kept at a submissive distance. Everyone was smoking, laughing at something, but I did not leave the feeling of awkwardness from a poorly rehearsed, albeit plausibly played performance.

With even greater intransigence, the captain of the ship is depicted “getting” fish through the Chushans with the help of a bottle, and Damka, a tramp and idler, hunting for fish caught in a poacher way. The pictures of the everyday life of the fishing village are so unsightly that the conclusion suggests itself, which the author made in a direct journalistic form:

“Laws and all sorts of new trends are perceived by the Chushans with ancient, peasant cunning - if the law protects from adversity, helps to strengthen materially, snatch for drinking, it is readily accepted, but if the law is harsh and infringes in some way on the inhabitants of the village of Chush, they pretend to be backward, orphans, we supposedly do not read newspapers, “we live in the forest, we pray to the wheel.” Well, and if they pin it to the wall and do not get out, a silent, long siege of starvation begins, quiet glanders The Chushan people are getting their way: what needs to be bypassed - they will bypass, what they want to get - they will get it, who needs to be survived from the village - they will survive ... ".

In the emphatically local characterization of the village of Chush, we recognize some features that sometimes manifest themselves in life. Orders in the village of Chush, for example, give rise to "gentlemen of fortune" - captains-grabbers, poachers, girls with an exclusively consumer temper - the author recalls that in these parts before the war there was more order, ladies and captains were not enriched and were not corrupted, because "minor fishing" was organized: fish factories entered into agreements with local fishermen, and fish were bought from them at prices slightly higher than from collective farm brigades.

The lady appeared in Chusha by accident - lagged behind the steamer. But “Damka got used to the village ... The fishermen willingly took him with them - for fun. And, pretending to be a fool, showing a free “tiyatr”, he casually got used to trappers, grabbed the essence of fishing, got a wooden boat ... and, to the surprise of the men, he began to catch fish quite smartly and sell it even more quickly to oncoming and transverse people " .

Another type of Chushan poacher, more difficult than Damki. The commander is smart, active, knowledgeable, therefore more aggressive and dangerous. His difficulty lies in the fact that at times he thought about his soul, he loved his daughter Taika the beauty to self-forgetfulness and was ready to do everything for her. Anguish sometimes seized him: “Damn life! He doesn’t remember when he went to bed on time in the summer, when he ate normally, went to the cinema, hugged his wife for joy. The legs are cold, they ache at night, heartburn torments, broomsticks fly from the eyes, and there is no one to complain to.

However, the Commander poached professionally, since snatching more and wherever possible is the meaning of his life. He is the faithful son of Chusha and has been living according to the laws of the village for a long time. For the author, the Commander is a strong, dodgy predator number one, unworthy of compassion.

“Predatorily bending down with his beak to meet the forest breeze, the Commander turned the boat around, making such a turn that the duralumin lay on board ... The Commander greedily licked his lips and, impudently grinning his teeth, went straight to the duralumin of the fish inspectors. He swept so close that he could see the bewilderment on the faces of his pursuers. “It’s okay, Semyon’s replacement, well-tailored and tightly sewn, as they say! .. Yes, this is not lame Semyon with a broken skull! With this, you will have to hand-to-hand, maybe you can’t avoid shooting ... ".

“Beak”, “predatory”, “impudently grinning teeth”, “shooting is inevitable” - these are the main details of the image of the Commander. And although he yearns for a different fate, dreams of leaving for warmer climes and living calmly, honestly - let another fool be chased and shot - loves his daughter and humanly suffers deeply when she was hit by a car driven by a drunk driver, we experience one overwhelming horror from the goals and meaning of the Commander's life. The rust of lack of spirituality ate all the best that continued to flicker faintly in him.

The story "The Fisherman Rumbled" describes the most inhuman method of catching fish - by trapping, when up to half of it, wounded, punctured with hooks, "leaves in agony to die." “The fish that fell asleep on hooks, especially sterlet and sturgeon, are unsuitable for food ...”. Various crooks catch dead fish and sell them. The author exclaims: “Look, buyer, into the gills of a fish and, if the gills are coal-black or with a poisonous blue tint, hit the seller in the mouth with a fish and say: “Eat yourself, you bastard!”

It rumbled - Bandera, once did a dirty deed: he burned the Red Army soldiers and was taken with a weapon in his hands. He was sued, received ten years in a strict regime, served his term and remained to live in the village of Chush, sensing in it favorable living conditions for himself. This rapprochement between the Commander, Ignatich and other various ladies with such a variety of poachers as Grokhotalo is not accidental. The barbaric, selfishly consumerist attitude to nature is elevated to a principle by this man. V. Astafiev's generalizations acquire a new capacious direction and deepen. If the Lady is shown with a certain amount of humor, if tragic notes are felt in the image of the Commander, then Rumble is depicted only in a satirical vein.

Grokhotalo was in charge of a pig farm in Chusha, raised pigs excellently, and his name did not leave the Board of Honor. But his inner essence was determined by one thing: "In addition to fat and himself, Grokhotalo recognized even pennies, therefore he was a grabber." The story of how he caught a huge sturgeon and how he was caught at the "crime scene" by a previously unfamiliar fish inspection inspector is sustained in evil accusatory colors, like the very beginning of the chapter about him. This is not a person, but a block, his snoring rolls like an anchor chain, his face is tinned, “all objects on it are smeared: no nose, no eyes, no eyebrows, there is no “breath of intelligence” on it. Unaware that the inspector was in front of him, Rumbled boasted:

“- Here, having scooped up a fish-y! - he said in an intercepted voice and, from excitement, he simply gaggled, scratched his stomach, pulled up his pants, not knowing. What else to do and say, he began to wipe the sand from the sturgeon with a trembling palm, cooing something tender, as if tickling, scratching a suckling pig.

The portrait of a humanoid animal with mental underdevelopment and moral emptiness is made in the traditions of satirical literature, that is, with the widest use of sarcasm, irony, and hyperbole. His intercepted voice, quivering palm, innocence, gentle cooing would be directly touching, if it were not for the internal worthlessness of the "block", already known to us, if it were not for the comic situation - he boasts before the fish inspector, if all this, finally, was not combined with the deliberately reducing him face with vocabulary - “gagat”, “scratched his stomach”, “pulled up his pants”.

In Rumbled, V. Astafiev achieves the destroying effect with the whole texture of the image - through the correlation of humor and the grotesque, through the exaggeration of speech and behavior. The author's attitude is expressed in descriptions with linguistic satirical expression.

Somehow, in a not human way, Rumbled wildly survived his failure with a magnificent sturgeon, which was confiscated from him. V. Astafiev masterfully conveys his state: “Rumbled, he moved the mountain of his back, suddenly groaned like a child, plaintively and sat down, looking around the company with dead eyes, recognized everyone, dissolved his red mouth with a howl, shuddered, scratched his chest and left ... ".

In the removal of Grokhotalo into the darkness of the punished, the so-called Astafyev's "theory of retribution" for the evil done to man, society, nature, that is, for "poaching" in the broadest sense, is manifested. The lady paid a fine for illegal methods of fishing, Rumbled with a large fish caught by him, Commander - with the death of his daughter, Ignatich was caught on hooks set by him and almost paid with his life.

Every year we are convinced by new and new facts that humanity is paying for its ill-conceived, often predatory attitude towards nature. The idea of retribution, not for one specific poaching of Damka or Grokhotalo, but for human violation of the ecological balance in nature, pervades the entire book of V. Astafiev. With the greatest completeness, it is expressed, perhaps, in the chapter "Tsar-fish", in the history of life, shock and repentance of Ignatich.

The text of V. Peskov cannot but interest a person, because the author reflects on a very important problem: the barbaric attitude to nature.

The problem discussed in the text is very relevant in our time. The author shows this to us through his reflections, from which we understand that man causes great damage to nature. "Many animals have disappeared or become exceptionally rare." As an example, he cites countries such as America and Africa. In which animals were exterminated for crops, the construction of cities and various human activities. In his imagination, the author "draws" a picture of how the Earth looks from the side. And unfortunately, we see only destructive human activity.

He calls on everyone to take care of the planet, because without it we will not be able to live a single day. "She feeds us, waters us, protects us." Yes, the Earth is huge, but we have only one.

I fully agree with the position of the author. Indeed, more and more people are using Natural resources, pollutes the environment, but unfortunately, gives nothing in return. I think this consumer attitude in the future can lead to huge problems.

To prove the correctness of my position, I want to turn to the work of V. Astafiev "Tsar-fish". Main character- Ignatich. He was known as the luckiest fisherman in the village. He used his skills to the detriment of nature, as he was engaged in poaching. He exterminated fish in huge quantities, causing great damage to nature. Ignatich was very greedy, so he caught more fish than he needed.

This played a fatal role when meeting with the "king-fish". He could not cope with such a large fish and ended up in the water, entangled in his own nets. Ignatich felt that this case was a punishment for his actions. He asks God for forgiveness. after that, the fish is released and swims away. And Ignatich immediately feels better.

Another example from the literature is the work of B. Vasiliev "Do not shoot at white swans." The main character is F. Buryanov. He abused his position. He was a forester. But despite this, he cut down the forest to build his house, stripped trees, sold the bark. He also allowed tourists to hunt in the forbidden territory. He did all this to earn as much money as possible, without thinking for a minute what harm he was doing to the environment...

Thus, we saw that the author touched upon an important problem that all mankind should think about. Only a meaningful and careful attitude of man to nature will allow us to live in harmony with it and preserve its beauty and majesty.

After us at least the grass does not grow?

The spiritual poverty of our society is diverse, and it manifests itself under various circumstances. This is the indifference with which the new owners of the former state dormitories throw even law-abiding residents right into the street with their children. The indifference with which those in power look at how the native village is perishing, and at that colossal difference in the standard of living between the inhabitants of the city and the countryside. Was there in history Russian state trouble on such a scale, when with living parents, children are brought up in overcrowded orphanages? Only here in Asina during the period of "perestroika" three (!) children's special institutions were opened. All this, ultimately, is evidence of the spiritual poverty of our post-Soviet society. But even more clearly and frankly ugly it manifests itself in people's attitude to nature.

Even "at the dawn of a foggy youth" I used to invariably do sports runs in the morning or take walks, pressing the pedals of a bicycle. Every time such a morning exercise led me somewhere to a nearby forest, to a clearing or a river bank, where I, taking a breath, enjoyed the beauty of our Siberian nature. Do you know what happiness is! Watch wildlife, enjoy it and feel how it breathes and glows!

AT last years I became seriously addicted to the study of herbs, shrubs, trees, as well as observing the birds and animals that inhabit the forests and groves of the Chulym region. Over time, I truly realized one very simple and deep truth, which, if you call on the poetic gift of a Russian poet for help " silver age"V. Khlebnikov, is that:" I need little: a piece of bread, a drop of milk, but this is the sky, and these clouds.

Of course, a modern person cannot live only admiring nature, he wants to have a good well-paid job, his own housing, a car, cellular telephone, a computer. The achievements of civilization make life more interesting, richer. But it will not be complete if a person lives only in the city, and looks at nature on the TV screen. But, alas, even a city dweller who finds himself in the nearest forests will not feel poetic delight, because how can one admire what is left of nature, over which man barbarously abused ...

Unfortunately, our attitude to the forest, its gifts, we have such that does not fit into any reasonable framework. Sometimes it feels like the law of the jungle rules. Grab, snatch, satisfy your selfish needs, and the rest - as you have to.

Poaching has become a common ugly phenomenon, a way of behavior. We tear unripe berries: blueberries, lingonberries, cranberries. We beat raw cones from cedars. We catch fish during the spawning period, and how much we destroy it with prohibited fishing gear. And then we wonder why more and more lean years become. And we don’t know that we ourselves contribute to this. Nature does not forgive the poaching attitude towards itself. As a result, people with their own hands cause harm and damage to their earthly well-being. It seems like an elementary truth, but how difficult it is to break through the jungle of human consciousness!

Look at the once picturesque outskirts of Ashina: at least a dozen kilometers in all directions from the city, magnificent and unique forests have been turned into real unauthorized dumps of household waste and latrines. And we are all humans! More than once I witnessed how the owner of an expensive foreign car, having stopped it right on the road, dumped whole bags of garbage right into the roadside ditch. I just want to scream: "People, stop! Think about what you are doing!"

'Cause all those plastic bags plastic bottles and other jars and flasks from household chemicals a hundred years from now, decomposing, will poison nature and eventually turn handsome pine forests into vast anthropogenic wastelands. When it finally dawns on us that the Siberian nature is fragile, easily vulnerable, and that it is necessary to handle it very carefully and take from it exactly as much as it itself is able to reproduce.

The unique Asino cedars - the taiga "pearls" of the Asino district - today, like yesterday, are completely defenseless against lumberjacks. Hundreds of cubic meters of coniferous "ship" forest are being poured out illegally and in barbaric ways. Nikolai Shilov, head of the biological practice of the Tomsk SKhTI, is right, who in the Krasnoye Znamya newspaper in the article "Who will stop the black lumberjacks?" directly says: "Take care of the forest!", because what is happening in the forest today is a real disaster. He proposes to unite the efforts of deputies and caring citizens, the authorities for consistent and persistent work to defend the interests of mother nature.

Or the same wood logging. Near the villages, on the edges of the fields, where it is more convenient and easier, in violation of all logging requirements, the best trees are whipped out, butchery is done right in the fields, the waste is not removed. Some cutting areas look as if the windbreak has passed. It hurts, of course, to watch this. But it is even more painful to see how from year to year lumberjacks destroy the coniferous "pearl" of the Chulym region - its ozone lungs. One of the heroes of the novel "The Russian Forest" by L. Leonov uttered prophetic words: "And as soon as you beat the Russian forests to the last tree, then you will go, dear ones, for bread to a foreign side."

And yet another disaster struck the Siberian forest. This is the barbaric destruction of animals and birds armed to the teeth with modern types of weapons with military sights, "NATO cartridges", communications equipment and night vision devices "amateur hunters." It feels like they are going not to hunt, but to go to war with the enemy. Local and visiting "new Russians" are especially successful in this, tired of drinking vodka, spending time in nightclubs and bathing in bathhouses, whole armies rushed into the forest ... I saw such unfortunate hunters bragging to each other: they say, I only in one trip I "obtained" as many as two bags of ... upland game.

Why does he need two bags of upland game! Is he hungry?!

Another daring hunter, riding the American Bombardier snowmobile, killed in a month ... more than 40 foxes (a whole flock!). Why?! What damage did he inflict on nature, can she heal such wounds?

That is why, returning from another forest walk, I feel some kind of depression and hopelessness: after all, I wandered through the forest all day, and all around there is only white silence, not a single trace, and not even a crow caws. A hazel grouse will not flutter, a flock of black grouse will not fly by, a hare will not jump out. Only snowmobile tracks...

Ask any old hunter, and he will say with pain that there was no such lawlessness as in the last two decades. The unwritten hunting law has been violated: do not kill female birds and animals, do not destroy young animals. Modern poachers are the murderers of nature. They deserve no other rating. I looked at them. They boast to each other of their luck. But this, excuse me, hobbyist does not swell from hunger, but from satiety. Shooting defenseless birds from a rifled weapon with an optical sight is a sporting thrill for him. They would be ashamed even in front of ordinary villagers, a bad example is contagious.

I myself try, as far as possible, to be an example of a protector of nature. For more than 15 years now, every spring, I have been planting trees and shrubs near my house, which is on the outskirts of the city. How much exactly? I've already lost count, well, at least a thousand - that's for sure. I spent the last few vacations cleaning up the area adjacent to the house, turned into a dump by the residents. Nature thanked: it sparkled with new colors, which was immediately noticed by the inhabitants of the nearest houses, coming to admire this miracle.

By the way, I am also a hunter (once I was a professional hunter in general, I had my own huts in the taiga, and I handed over the hunted animal to the state), and even now I don’t part with a gun, but I allow me to get only migratory ducks, sometimes a hare. So far, both ducks in our reservoirs and hares in the forest are still found and, in comparison with other species of birds and animals, have the ability to reproduce quickly. And in order for them and other animals to fill our forests again in abundance, in my deep conviction, first of all, it is necessary to toughen punishments (following the example of European countries) in relation to violators of existing laws on ecology, forest management and the rules of fishing and hunting.

But measures must still be taken, and urgent ones. By law, we do not have "no man's" land, forests and water, where the poacher would feel at ease, go unpunished for his dirty deeds. All nature management is under the jurisdiction of either federal or local authorities, who must keep order and restore it.

On the vast area of our region there are only 18 state orders of regional significance. This is extremely small. We need to increase their number. Create new ones where flora and fauna are still preserved in order to reduce the volume of the Red Book of the Tomsk Region. It is necessary, in my opinion, to financially support the initiative of those municipalities that organize ecological zones on their territories for recreation and tourism, as well as for sport hunting and fishing. To support in every possible way such public organizations as the environmental center "Strizh", created at TSU, which are actively engaged in selfless environmental activities, involve young people and schoolchildren in it, and form environmental thinking among the population. In a word, forms and ways of solving the acute problem of conservation environment more than enough, if we only realize its significance for ourselves.

Whoever subtly feels nature understands well the direct dependence of people on her well-being. She clearly shows it on herself. Here is an impassable thicket, where it is damp, cold, gloomy, intertwined with cobwebs. And here is an amazing, sunny hillock with raspberries. Nature thus prompts, as it were: compare and make a choice, man. You can doom yourself to a slum existence, and if you want, you will live on my sunny side.

It is no coincidence, perhaps, that more and more films are being released about the threats of a toxic apocalypse on earth. It is catastrophically losing ecological protection, which people need to restore by common efforts. On every corner of the earth. But for this it is necessary to overcome social Darwinism, a consumerist attitude to nature and moral savagery.

Only in recent years have we seen a real turn towards the acquisition of lost human values. And before that, all the reforms were in the direction of money. Ahead - the ruble, behind him - a man. Finally, they realized that they needed to be rearranged, then the dreams of a strong Russian state would gain a solid foundation. Why? Because moral and ethical postulates, such as conscience, decency, patriotism and others, are not a bare abstraction, but quite objective properties that are manifested in the behavior and actions of people. Will the cultural one allow himself, well-mannered person throw a bag of household waste right on the street or dump household rubbish on the side of the road? We have such a disgrace happening all the time. So the question of who we are remains topical. ...At the end of last year, we experienced great family joy. The youngest daughter gave birth to twins. Now my wife, Svetlana Petrovna, and I have seven grandchildren. The most priceless treasure! Of course, I want their life to be better than ours. But what weight will material values have if we do not preserve the warmth and beauty of earthly nature for the younger generation? Is it not convincingly said: the sky without birds is not the sky, the sea without fish is not the sea, the earth without animals is not the earth, a man without a soul is a savage? ..

O. Gromov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Tomsk Region, Chairman of the Council of the Asinovsky RPS,
"Red Banner", 01/18/2008

2013 is declared the year of protection and environmental protection in Russia

A sharp assessment of the state of environmental protection was recently given by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. A number of media reported on his position, which was roughly as follows: such a barbaric attitude towards nature, which exists today in Russia, can be attributed to only a few countries of the world. “I won't name these countries so as not to offend them,” D. Medvedev said.

The Prime Minister's assessment of the relationship between society and wildlife should be decisive in 2013, including without any embellishment and hushing up of this painful problem. It inspires optimism that this assessment will not remain a declaration.

Here is the latest "hunting" news - the detention in the Urals of an off-road vehicle of one of the deputies of the State Duma (LDPR faction), in which two dead roe deer and an uncovered weapon were transported. The faction stated that if the fact of poaching in one of the local reserves is confirmed, the deputy may lose his mandate.

This news was also well known among the participants of the correspondence round table» "Birobidzhan Star" held last week. The head of the ICARP laboratory, candidate of biological sciences Tamara Rubtsova, member of the board of the regional voluntary society of hunters, honored worker of the hunting economy of Russia Sergey Mokrov, head of the department of state control of forest management of the EAO Igor Maizik, meliorator Naum Livant, representative Directorate for Specially Protected Natural Territories Yury Panin, ecologist Vasily Gorobeiko (Rosprirodnadzor for the Jewish Autonomous Region).

T. Rubtsova:

— The definition of “barbarian” given by Dmitry Medvedev to our approaches to living nature is by no means exaggerated. By the nature of my activity, I am engaged in the flora of autonomy. In just one and a half to two decades, magnificent plantations of the same cranberries, blueberries, and lingonberries literally degenerated. One of the main reasons for the degeneration is the countless forest fires, which, of course, do not occur on their own. Almost one hundred percent of all fires are on the conscience of people: not only due to their thoughtlessness, pockets of fire arise, but also due to malicious intent, which is also not uncommon. Just one example is enough. Under the blows of the fiery element, almost lifeless space turned into recent times the huge Petrovsky Pad in the Smidovichi district. Its magnificent wetland tracts with an abundance of wild animals have practically dried up.

Or take the situation with lemongrass. Old-timers remember how much it was not so long ago on the islands of the same river Bira. And now we must try to find at least one vine that has not been uprooted or not cut down. Has anyone been punished for the extermination of this miraculous plant? For example, I don’t know anything about this ... (Meanwhile, creepers are openly sold in the municipal markets of Birobidzhan almost all year round- ed.)

N. Livant:

- I am not a hunter and I do not undertake to assess the state of stocks of wild animals in our country. But last autumn I had a chance to examine the Bira and Bidzhan rivers with a group of specialists. From the village of Dubove in the Birobidzhan region, our helicopter headed for the village of Novotroitskoye, Leninsky region. So: in the deserted wild expanses with vast swamps and dry lands, we counted only four or five roe deer from the helicopter ... But we flew almost 100 kilometers over the tracts, which seemed to be specially created by nature for the habitat of ungulates. Is it possible that such a number is the norm for the same roe deer in our places? I doubt. Maybe it's time to stop hunting them?

S. Mokrov:

- The fact that we have recently diminished game is obvious to both specialists and non-specialists. But there is no need to rush about closing the hunt. For each species of wild animals, such as wild boars, red deer, roe deer and others, strictly justified limits are set for their removal from the natural environment. If you do not exceed the limits, then the population after the closure of the hunt is restored, and even with an excess. But the trouble is that we have a large scale of illegal hunting, and the fight against poaching does not, unfortunately, give the desired effect. Poachers, for example, are equipped with much better transport - they have off-road vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles ... And the regional hunting supervision is simply a loser compared to them. It is completely uncontrolled, for example, the use of high-speed snowmobiles on illegal hunting in the winter. Decisive measures are needed to combat this dangerous phenomenon.

Y. Pashnin:

- Half a century ago, the first specially protected natural areas were formed in the JAO - the reserves "Churki", "Uldur", "Shukhi-Poktoy". Later, four more reserves were created - "Bastak", "Zabelovsky", "Crane" and "Dichunsky", as well as about 20 natural monuments. 16 years ago, the Bastak reserve was transformed into a state nature reserve with the same name. All these objects are the most valuable reserves for replenishing the same open hunting grounds with wild ungulates, fur-bearing animals, game birds. In the reserves, not to mention the reserve, all types of hunting and fishing are closed. They have a special visiting regime and the highest fees for damage caused to animals, in particular, by illegal hunting. Nevertheless, the sanctuaries also do not leave poachers with their "concerns". So far, we have managed to stop almost all attempts of illegal hunting in the reserves.

I. Mayzik:

“It hurts to watch how, year after year, tree vegetation is mercilessly cut down in the near and far neighborhoods of villages and settlements of the autonomy, and around the regional center. If the state forest fund has established year-round protection of resources, then on the lands of municipalities, forests are not protected by anyone and are not protected from felling. And this is often done not from malicious intent, but from the vulgar poverty of the same rural population. Many villagers simply do not have the money to legally buy 10-15 cubic meters of firewood for furnace heating. So they are engaged in self-harvesting of wood, while not only mature trees, but also undergrowth and shrubs go under axes and saws. And the most disturbing thing is that teenagers are engaged in illegal logging.

V. Gorobeiko:

- The problems of extraction and processing of minerals are very acute. Almost any enterprise in this industry grossly violates Russian environmental legislation. Gold mining is no exception here, primarily by Chinese prospectors. True, since last year, gold miners from the PRC have ceased to operate in the region. And the landfills where they mined the precious metal (including with the help of poisonous mercury - ed.) received such environmental damage that it will take many years to restore nature. By the way, in China itself, at least in the areas bordering us, alluvial gold mining has been stopped due to extremely high environmental damage. Maybe it's time for us, having weighed all the pros and cons, to turn to the experience of our neighbors. It's no secret that the volume of gold mining at small deposits, which are being developed by Russian miners, does not cover the environmental damage caused to nature.

The environmental and environmental issues raised by the participants of the round table are only a part of the truly painful problems that the Prime Minister spoke about with great concern and anxiety. For years, for example, in autonomy, the problems of environmental pollution by countless landfills have not been solved. With the exception of perhaps one or two treatment facilities that can be given a satisfactory rating, dozens of others do not stand up to scrutiny. The problem of timely discharge and disposal of mercury-containing lighting lamps and devices is growing and becoming very dangerous. The problem of protecting the autonomy's forest fund from illegal logging remains acute. Local reservoirs were left without proper supervision after the reform of fish protection bodies. Here is just one fact of rampant poaching on them: the once large herds of autumn chum salmon on the spawning rivers of the region have practically been wiped out. And this is only part of the environmental and environmental issues that arose with barbaric approaches to nature.

On Friday, after a round table organized by the ONF and dedicated to the prospects landfill in Kirzhachsky district the discussion is not over. State Duma deputy Yevgeny Revenko met with the editors-in-chief of the Vladimir media and outlined his vision of the problem in more detail.

- I learned this story from the words of the opponents of the project. I wrote a request to Svetlana Yuryevna Orlova, received an answer. I asked a question to the head of Rosprirodnadzor, who came to our State Duma. I received an official answer that no examination had yet been carried out. Well, today an important moment happened: at this discussion, for the first time, the same mysterious investor appeared before people. And he made some things clear. Most importantly, he said: "If you don't want to, we won't." He said that there is no project yet, because there is no expertise. That is, there is no subject of discussion, - said Evgeny Revenko. — There are a number of factors that cannot be ignored when making a decision. Opponents talk about a possible environmental catastrophe, other data say that if nothing is done, it will also come ecological catastrophy. The number of illegal dumps in the Vladimir region will simply multiply. This game, the barbaric attitude to nature, in which we are in contrast to Europe, will only get worse. I also asked the local authorities how much income they received from the operation of the landfill. Not at all. Zero rubles, zero kopecks. Now the investor pays to the local budget specifically for these villages. Even without the implementation of the project, only the tax from the land will be from 12 to 16 million per year. For village budgets, this is tangible money. During the implementation of the project will be 138 million per year. Is it bad?

— Of course, all issues related to ecology should be carefully watched and studied. What happened today is not a public hearing. But, knowing how all this happens, I, not only praise the local authorities, but admit that everything was done openly. Where else would I see it? The deputies of the governor, all the district chiefs, all the activists dragged me in... Of course, this was a kind of forerunner of large hearings, at which the authorities, if they want to protect the project, will have to clearly argue why it is necessary to build in this place.

- By the way, when I listened to the experts invited by the initiative group, I joked: if you are right, then no economic activity can be carried out in this place at all! Even holiday villages should be closed. It is impossible to bring everything to such insanity. It is necessary to carry out an official examination procedure.

The editors, in turn, asked the question: “Will it turn out that there will be hearings at which the population will say a categorical no, but the authorities will still do it their own way?” To which the State Duma deputy replied:

- I worked in the government of Mikhail Fradkov. Now he became a member of the State Duma. And during this time I have already sufficiently mastered the nature of power - how everything works there. The authorities, if they are smart, understand that there can be no stability and tranquility if you are sitting on a powder keg. The opinion of the population must be taken into account. But the discussion on the topic of recycling household waste is not only in the Vladimir region. It goes through a huge number of regions. Countrywide. It's a whole big program. We treat nature and ourselves in a barbaric way. We have outdated wild methods of waste disposal. Modern factories will be built throughout the country. You have to go to Europe - to study their experience.

In the course of the conversation, they suggested that the State Duma deputy come up with a legislative initiative. Maybe just ban the trans-regional transport of garbage? Then Moscow, for example, will closely deal with its own garbage, and not "push" them onto poorer neighboring regions. However, the MP did not like this idea:

“We should not engage in garbage separatism. I don't see any economic feasibility in this. You can make good money from garbage. But as for the implementation of projects, their environmental safety, public institutions should be involved here.

We also talked about party affairs. Evgeny Revenko announced the upcoming intra-party elections. Talked about the update in " United Russia". An example of the work of the party as a social lift is the career of Artem Starostin, the former head of the executive committee of the regional branch. He moved to the central office.

- A young guy, energetic, adequate. We have large discussion platforms in Moscow. He headed the apparatus of these sites, he helps me a lot. The Vladimir faction within the leading structures of the party already exists, Evgeny Revenko said.

Another interesting topic that the State Duma deputy was asked about by the media editors was that Artyom Turov, the coordinator of the elections from ER, was immediately perceived in our region as a likely candidate for the election of the governor of the Vladimir region. Is it so?

- He travels to all areas in which training is coordinated. The goal is to increase awareness. At the same time, he is in charge of elective issues not only in the Vladimir region. This is the federal commissioner on the party line. But you can’t compare him with the governor - these are incomparable values,- summed up the deputy.
